Mr. Marc Fournier started his first company in 1995, providing translation and English teaching services to large advertising agencies and consulting companies.
After selling his firm to the Institut Français de Gestion in 1997, he was involved in the development of several Internet companies in Silicon Valley, such as the online travel website 12degrees.
He also contributed to the first rounds of financing of several technology companies, including Envivio (video over IP) and Claria (Internet advertisement).
Mr. Fournier has been active in venture capital since 2000.
He co-founded the incubator Kangaroo Village in 2000, and joined SGAM in 2002 to take over the venture capital activity, managing portfolio companies such as Attitude Studio, Ekinops, Karavel (acquired by Opodo), NetAsq, Sarenza and Si Automation (acquired by PDF Solution).
M Fournier is a graduate from Tufts University and Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP).
He teaches at ESCP.
