Mr. Marco Mencini is a Head of Research at Plenisfer Investments SGR SpA. He has over years of experience in asset management.
Before joining Plenisfer, he was Head of Emerging Market Equity for Amundi (formerly Pioneer Investments) for six years.
He began his career in the strategic planning department of Telecom Italia, and then moved to asset management in the telecommunications sector.
He began his career at Pioneer as an analyst and PM of the dedicated TMT fund.
He was subsequently appointed Head of European Equity Research responsible for a team of 10 senior analysts.
In 2011 he moved to London to establish the Emerging Markets Research function where he retained responsibility for Telecommunications & Technology and was Lead Portfolio Manager of the Emerging Market Equity fund.
He has a degree in Economics from Bocconi University.
