Mr. Mark L.
Friedman is a Chief Investment Officer & Co-Portfolio Manager at DLD Asset Management LP.
He launched DLD in 2013, bringing together many investment professionals he had previously worked with to create a relative-value focused investment firm.
Mr. Friedman has over 30 years of investment experience and has launched and guided two billion-dollar-plus hedge funds with a relative value focus.
His early derivatives experience at O'Connor & Associates primed him for several convertible arbitrage trading positions with Swiss Bank-related entities.
He was Director and Head of US Convertible Bond trading at Deutsche Bank before launching his first hedge fund, AM Investment Partners, in 2001.
There, he consistently achieved strong returns while managing the risks associated with a convertible arbitrage portfolio, including through the GFC.
He received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and International Business from New York University.
