Mr. Michael A. Aked, CFA, is a Partner & Director of Research for Australia at Research Affiliates LLC.
He leads research and business strategy in Australia.
Previously, he led the Asset Allocation team and continues to perform related research.
Prior to joining Research Affiliates, Mr. Aked served as managing director at the University of Virginia Investment Management Company, where he worked on po?rtfolio and risk management.
He has also held positions at Sunsuper, an Australian superannuation fund, and at UBS Global Asset Management across four continents.
Previously, he held positions at Sunsuper, University of Virginia Investment Management Company, and UBS Global Asset Management across four continents.
He received a BA with honors in applied mathematics from the University of Sydney, an MS in statistics from the University of Virginia, and an MS in financial mathematics from the University of Chicago.
He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of both the CFA Society Melbourne and Q-Group Australia.
