Mr. Michael Krautzberger, CFA, is a Chief Investment Officer Public Markets at Allianz Global Investors UK Ltd. He is also a member of the firm's Executive Committee.
Previously, he was Global CIO Fixed Income.
He has over 30 years of investment experience with a focus on fixed income investments.
He joined AllianzGI in 2024 from BlackRock, where he worked for 19 years, most recently as Head of EMEA Fundamental Fixed Income since 2018.
Prior to that, he was Chief Investment Officer and a member of the Management Board of BlackRock Asset Management Deutschland AG.
Before joining Merrill Lynch Investment Managers in 2005 (which merged with BlackRock in 2006), he was Head of European Fixed Income at Union Investment and before that worked at DWS for five years.
Mr. Krautzberger holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Computer Science from the European Business School and a Master's degree in Economics from the Fern Universität in Hagen.
