Mr. Michael S.
Foo, CFA, is a Chief Investment Officer & Partner at HP Wealth Management (S) Pte Ltd. He has held a number of senior positions in portfolio management in various financial institutions since 1995.
Mr. Foo investment career started with United Overseas Bank where he managed funds investing in Europe and the Asia-Pacific.
He then headed up the Private Client Group in Schroder Investment Management Singapore in 1999 where he was responsible for both the commercial aspects as well as managing clients’ portfolios.
In 2001, he joined BNP Paribas Private Bank Singapore as a Senior Portfolio Manager and became a member of the bank’s global investment committee.
His last position was with Clariden Leu Singapore as Regional Head of Portfolio Management & Research since 2006.
Prior to his investment career, he worked as a financial news journalist.
Mr. Foo received his undergraduate degree from York University and holds a Master degree from the London Business School.
He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
