Mr. Glueck was an investment analyst at Value Line for eight years after teaching at Columbia and City University of New York, and then joined Metropolitan Life Insurance Company as a senior analyst and, eventually, an assistant portfolio manager.
He also worked at E.W.
Axe Company, Crocker Investment Management Corporation, and Bank of America's trust department, before joining Credit Suisse.
Eight of these years were spent in Zurich, where he worked for Credit Suisse and Guyerzeller Bank.
His book, "Living Among The Swiss" (Minerva Press, London), discusses Swiss investment and business practices.
