Mr. Neil J.
Murray, CFA, is Global Head of Credit at Aberdeen Asset Managers Ltd. He joined Aberdeen following the acquisition of SWIP business in April 2014
He headed the Credit team from New York at SWIP.
He managed the Investment Grade and High Yield teams in New York, Edinburgh and London as well as managing a number of investment grade corporate bond portfolios.
He transferred to New York to establish a fixed income capability for SWIP in 2011, where he launched a capability in US high yield with US investment grade capability beginning in 2012.
Before joining the SWIP’s fixed income team in September 2000 he spent two years in the Investment Risk Control Unit at Scottish Widows.
Mr. Murray earned his BSc Pure and Applied Chemistry and PgDip Accountancy from University of Strathclyde.
