Brous is Founder at Samson Capital Advisors LLC.
He co-founded the firm in April 2004.
Previously, Mr. Brous was an executive at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co., a large private equity firm.
While at KKR, he identified and consummated a range of investment opportunities, including leveraged buyouts, minority equity investments and leveraged buildups.
He served as a member of the Board of Directors of KKR portfolio companies Granum Communications, Canadian General Insurance Group, Nexstar Financial, KinderCare Learning Centers, and both Randall's Food Stores and Bruno's.
Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Brous worked in the Corporate Finance Department of Goldman, Sachs & Co. At Goldman Sachs, he advised a number of companies across different industries.
In this capacity, he advised on a broad array of transactions, including equity and debt offerings, acquisitions and divestitures, recapitalizations and restructurings.
Mr. Brous currently serves as a Board Member for several private companies, including Nexstar Financial, Voyager Expanded Learning and Active International.
Mr. Brous received a B.A. in Economics from Tufts University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
He received a J.D.
from Harvard Law School, where he graduated Cum Laude.
