Prior to joining in 1996, Owen was an Assistant Vice President with the Corporate Banking Group of Riggs Bank N.A. He came to Riggs from GEICO Corporation where he was an investment accountant.
Owen earned his B.B.A. degree in Finance and graduated with highest distinction from Emory University's Goizueta Business School in Atlanta, GA. He has also earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the Association for Investment Management and Research.
