Mr. Bialek is a member of the team at Frazier Technology Ventures.
Since 2002, he has been an independent consultant, and in that capacity, from late 2003 thru mid 2004 he served as CEO for TeleSym (a venture-backed Voice over IP software company) and from late 2002 thru mid 2003 he served as CFO for Revenue Science (venture-backed data analytics software company).
From 1998 to 2001 he served as CFO and senior vice president, finance and operations at RealNetworks.
Prior to joining RealNetworks, Mr. Bialek served as CFO for Metapath Software Corporation, a venture-backed wireless communications software company.
From 1993 to 1997, he served as CFO for Edmark Corporation, a Nasdaq listed multimedia software company, which was acquired by IBM in late 1996.
Mr. Bialek began his career at KPMG Peat Marwick, where he spent 11 years in the audit practice serving public and private technology companies.
Mr. Bialek holds a degree in business administration from Seattle University (1982) and is a certified public accountant.
He currently serves as a director of Insightful Corporation, a public software company (and is also chair of the audit committee), and the Washington Research Foundation.
Mr. Bialek also serves on the advisory board for Seattle University’s accounting program and is a past director of the Washington Software Association (nonprofit trade association).
He serves on the boards of Smilebox, SNAPin, and W5 Networks.
