He joined James Capel & Co in 1993 as Chief Investment Strategist.
He is also a non-executive director of the Financial Reporting Council and is a member of the Supervisory Board of the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group.
He graduated from Sheffield University with a BA hons in Geography and from Manchester Business School with an MBA.
