Mr. Peter Novotny has a multi-disciplinary background in corporate finance, investment management, and entrepreneurship.
Prior to joining EnerCap in April 2007, Peter worked with BarHill Real Estate where he oversaw the asset management functions of a €120 million commercial real estate portfolio, and co-founded a real estate listings media business.
Before this, he worked with the financial advisory team of Deloitte in Prague on four sell-side and two buy-side mandates, and with other boutique advisory firms in the Czech Republic.
Peter came to Central Europe in 2002 from Canada where he worked in venture capital with Kinghaven Capital Corporation, mainly managing a technology portfolio company.
Peter holds an MBA from McGill University in Montreal and is a CFA Charterholder, and is a board member of the Czech CFA Society.
