Mr. Rachan R.
Reddy currently serves as one of three General Partners for IDG Ventures Vietnam.
Along with the other General Partners of IDG Ventures Vietnam, he participates in the investment and management decisions of the fund and it's portfolio companies, specifically investments within the IT, pharmaceutical, bio technology and telecommunications sectors.
Before joining IDG Ventures, hewas a founding partner and President of VITC, a U.S.-based telecommunications company specializing in IP services with USD 30 million in annual revenue.
He was responsible for establishing and managing the company's global wholesale network and retail operations.
Prior to his work in Asia , he worked as a project consultant, and was involved with the establishment of S2S Medical Publishing.
He was also involved in bio medical research at Northwestern University , UCLA and UCSD.
He was an undergraduate at UCLA where he studied as a Cybernetics/ Systems Engineering major.
He graduated Summa cum Laude and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa Society.
After UCLA, he earned his M.D.
degree from Northwestern University Medical School.
