Before joining SMH Capital in October 2009, Mr. Urquhart was a summer investment banking Associate at Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co. working on energy sector transactions.
Prior to business school, he was a portfolio manager and options trader for PEAK6 Investments in Chicago, IL focused mainly on energy equities.
Mr. Urquhart holds a Masters of Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Accounting from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University.
