Profil
Following a career as a merchant banker in London and Hong Kong, Roger Mountford now serves on a number of boards focusing on investment, private equity and the transport sector.
He was former chairman of HgCapital Trust plc and the Civil Aviation Authority Pension Scheme, one of VenCap’s longest standing clients, and currently holds leadership positions in the LaFarge UK Pension Plan and the Church of England Pensions Board.
He is a non-executive director of High Speed Two (HS2) Limited, the company owned by the U.K.
government and charged with the construction of the country’s high-speed rail network.
He is a governor, and chairman of the finance committee, of the London School of Economics, of which he is an alumnus.
