McCall served as Chairman of the Florida Council at The Florida Bar from 1976 to 1977 and as President & Director of The Hillsborough County Bar Association in 1973-1974.
He was also the Lead Independent Director at Artivion, Inc. from 2012 to 2021 and the Owner of Mr. McCall PA from 1985 to 2021.
Additionally, he served as President & Trustee of Gulf Coast Lung Association in 1978-1979 and was a Member of Florida Blue Key.
McCall was a Member of the Hall of Fame since 1957 and The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi since 1959.
He earned his undergraduate degree in 1958 and his graduate degree in 1961 from the University of Florida.
