Russ Burks co-founded Ansley in 1999 as a boutique investment banking firm providing strategic consulting and investment banking services to the outsourced business services market.
For the past decade, Ansley has exclusively focused on healthcare information technology and technology-enabled healthcare services.
Prior to founding Ansley, Russ gained significant investment banking experience with Bankers Trust New York’s investment banking subsidiary BT Securities, focusing on private equity and leveraged finance.
He also worked at Rockwell International on the B-1 Lancer program as a project engineer and member of the technical staff.
In addition to his extensive expertise in structuring, negotiating, and closing transactions, he is an expert in analyzing the economic fundamentals of a client’s business strategy and its operational models.
Burks also has significant operational experience and has served as an interim CFO and financial consultant for several of Ansley’s clients.
Russ was recently named to the Board of Directors of RxResults, LLC.
Russ holds an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS in Mechanical Engineering, with Distinction, from the University of Michigan.
Russ is a registered representative with FINRA and currently holds Series 7, Series 24, Series 63, Series 79 and Series 99 licenses.
