Zimmerman, CPA, is Co-Founder & Wealth Advisor at Buckingham Asset Management LLC and an Investment Advisor at The Buckingham Family of Financial Services.
Prior to co-founding Buckingham in 1994, Mr. Zimmerman was partner in charge of the Personal Financial Consulting department of RubinBrown LLP.
His 28 years of experience with RubinBrown included service on its executive committee, chairing its practice development committee and starting its nonprofit department.
He is a past president of the Clayton Chamber of Commerce, Craft Alliance, the Clayton Child Center and the St. Louis chapter of the American Jewish Committee.
He currently serves on various committees of the AJC and the Jewish Federation of St. Louis.
He has also served a number of professional organizations.
He was a contributing author for the Journal of Accountancy; former member of the Personal Financial Specialist subcommittee of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants; National executive committee of the AICPA Personal Financial Planning Division; National AICPA Personal Financial Planning Practice Subcommittee; National AICPA Estate Planning Subcommittee; National AICPA Minority Business Development Committee; and management of an accounting practice committee of the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants.
He has more than 40 years of experience in personal financial planning and has been a speaker on the subjects of investing and personal financial consulting both nationally and internationally.
Mr. Zimmerman holds a bachelor's degree in business administration with emphasis in accounting from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
He is a licensed CPA and an accredited Personal Financial Specialist.
