Mr. Edward J.
Alexander is Portfolio Manager & Head of Healthcare at Magellan Asset Management Ltd. Mr. Alexander joined Magellan in August 2014 and is a member of Magellan’s Investment Committee.
In August 2016 he was appointed to the additional role of Portfolio Manager.
Prior to Magellan, Mr. Alexander spent six years as a Fund Manager at Neptune Investment Management in the UK, where he was the Head of Alternative Investments.
Prior to this, he worked at the Reserve Bank of Australia.
Mr. Alexander holds an M.Phil in Economics from the University of Oxford, where he was a Rhodes Scholar and a Bachelor of Economics with First Class Honours from the University of Tasmania.
