Welch is a Vice President & Portfolio Manager at St. Germain Investment Management, Inc. He is responsible for managing trading activities and performing fundamental economic and sector research to assist in investment strategy development.
Mr. Welch comes to the firm from Berkshire Bank Wealth Management in Lenox, MA where he managed portfolios in addition to providing analysis and research on market, corporate and economic activities.
Prior to Berkshire Bank Wealth Management, he was an assistant portfolio manager and a member of the investment committee at Spinnaker Trust in Portland, ME.
From the St. Germain Investment Management office in Mississippi, he is also our portfolio manager serving southeast-based clients as well as developing new business relationships.
He received his BA in Economics from Bowdoin College.
