Mr. Warren Buys, CFA, is an Equity Analyst at Cadiz Asset Management (Pty) Ltd. Prior to joining Cadiz Asset Management in 2009, he was employed at Osbourne Capital as an equity analyst covering the industrial universe.
He started his asset management career in 1998 as a private client portfolio manager at SG Securities.
He subsequently moved to Peregrine Structuring working as a derivatives analyst.
He was later involved in setting up Prosperity Multi Manager in which Peregrine was a JV partner.
Mr. Buys spent 4 years at Investec Asset Management.
Initially involved in the management of the Investec retail fund of funds range, he then joined their investment team as an Equity Analyst.
He holds a Master's degree in Finance & a degree in Commerce.
Mr. Buys is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
