Mr. William Hawkins is a Managing Director & Director of Research at Stifel Nicolaus Europe Ltd. He runs the European equity research department of Keefe, Bruyette & Woods in London and is head of the insurance team.
In addition to developing strategy and marketing the pan-European insurance sector, he is directly responsible for coverage of the Big 4 large cap primary insurers.
His coverage has historically included the Europe-based reinsurers, Benelux insurers and Nordic insurers.
He is also leading the European focus on insurance technology.
Previously, he had been a senior insurance analyst at Fox-Pitt, Kelton since 1996.
He is a graduate of Cambridge University where he studied history.
