William Qualls is a Director of The American Marketing Association and a Professor of Business Administration and a Director of the Industrial Distribution Management Program for the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
He was Associate Professor of Marketing for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1989 to 1998 and an Assistant and Associate Professor of Marketing for the University of Michigan from 1980 to 1989.
Mr. Qualls was a Member of the Editorial Boards of the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Advertising, Journal of Business Research and Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science.
He was a Member of the Census Bureau Advisory Committee, Education Council and the AMA Educators Conference Track Chair.
