Dr. Xiao Bo Zhang is a Research Associate at ZEW-Leibniz-Zentrum für Europäische Wirtschaftsforschung.
He works in close cooperation with the research unit "Economics of Innovation and Industrial Dynamics".
He is a chair professor with the National School of Development at Peking University, a Senior Research Fellow at the International Food Policy Research Institute in Washington, D.C., and editor-in-chief of China Economic Review.
His main research focus is the Chinese economy and development economics, including innovation and entrepreneurship.
He holds a PhD in applied economics and management from Cornell University.
