Yaw has gained 13 years of professional experience in operations management, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) implementation, impact monitoring and evaluation, and project management.
At Injaro, Yaw integrates ESG metrics into the investment and value addition processes for our funds and identifies opportunities to close technical and management gaps in investee companies as the Operations Manager.
Prior to joining Injaro, Yaw holds experience in running food manufacturing facilities and handling general manufacturing operations for start-ups as well as for established companies.
As the Project Manager for the Niche Cocoa Industry, Yaw designed process flow options and led the project team to select and acquire process equipment for a 2T/hr confectionery factory set-up.
While at Commodities Processing Industries, he, as the Production Manager, successfully led several product development initiatives and delivered customer orders of over US$20 million.
Yaw holds a BSc (Hons) in Chemical Engineering (first class) from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology and an MBA (distinction) in Sustainability with additional focus on Strategic Operations, and Supply Chain Management from the University of Exeter.
