Yilmaz Çolak is currently the President of the Turkish National Police Academy since 2014.
He is also the President of the International Association of Police Academies and the Vice President of the Association of European Police College.
Previously, he worked as an Associate Professor at Eastern Mediterranean University and Kirikkale Üniversitesi from 1993 to 2010.
He also served as a Member-Supervisory Board at Turkiye Halk Bankasi AS.
Dr. Çolak completed his undergraduate degree at Middle East Technical University and holds graduate and doctorate degrees from Bilkent University.
