Prior to joining Sterling in 2008, Mr. Yeh worked as a part-time Associate at Safeguard Scientifics.
He identified and evaluated growth equity investments in the healthcare diagnostics and services spaces.
He also worked as an Analyst for Siemens Venture Capital, where he supported all aspects of transactions including due diligence, valuation, and negotiation of terms—similar responsibilities to those he holds at Sterling.
Mr. Yeh worked with senior executives to transition early stage ideas into revenue generating businesses.
He evaluated more than 1,000 opportunities and closed 10 transactions in the business services, diagnostics and devices sectors.
Prior to joining Siemens, Mr. Yeh served as a Consultant for Monitor Group, assisting pharmaceutical, automotive, and energy firms in developing growth, marketing and brand strategies.
Part of his responsibilities included transforming older, stagnant products back into growing franchises.
This experience helped him understand the struggles facing firms at all stages of development—experience that he utilizes at Sterling Partners.
Mr. Yeh graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with dual Bachelor's degrees in Molecular and Cell Biology and Business Administration.
He also received his MBA in Finance and Healthcare Management from The Wharton School.
