Mr. Fogerty is a Managing Director of FG Management Company, Ltd., an asset management firm specializing in advising on, and managing assets from, emerging markets.
Long recognized as a pioneer in the secondary market for emerging market debt, he helped establish the first specialized unit at a major Wall Street firm dedicated to trading such credits while at Lehman Brothers Kuhn Loeb in 1983.
As a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley from 1990-93, he had worldwide responsibility for capital allocation and risk management of the firm’s proprietary and trading accounts in all emerging market debt stock.
Prior to forming FG Management, he was a principal in Centaur International, a firm specializing in discretionary management of investor funds in emerging markets debt.
Mr. Fogerty was graduated from Purdue University in 1978 with a B.A. in Political Science and Economics where he was elected Phi Beta Kappa.
In 1983, he was awarded a J.D.
degree from the Cornell University School of Law.
