Profil
Prior to joining Avenue in 2004, Ms. Economou was a Senior Analyst in the convertible arbitrage/capital structure arbitrage group at Angelo, Gordon & Co. Previously, she was a Portfolio Manager of the loan portfolio group at Barclays Capital, after working as an analyst in the fixed income and distressed debt/high yield telecom groups.
Prior to Barclays, Ms. Economou was a Proprietary Trader on the fixed income desk of Smith Barney.
Previously, she was a Portfolio Manager for Prudential Global Advisors.
Ms. Economou received a B.A. in Economics from Harvard University (1987) and an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Chicago (1996).
