In August 2004, Mr. Weinfeld transferred from Franklin Resources, Inc, the parent of Darby Overseas Investments Ltd., where he worked since 1997.
Prior to his current position at Darby Overseas Investment, he was Director of Investor Relations for Franklin Templeton, where he was responsible for communicating the company's strategic and operational developments with the investment community.
His other responsibilities in this function included working on various corporate finance, M&A and treasury projects.
Prior to this role, he worked as an equity research analyst at Franklin Templeton, covering the consumer non-durables industry.
Mr. Weinfeld received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Tulane University, magna cum laude, with a major in Latin American Studies, concentration in business, and with a minor in Economics.
He is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a member of the Security Analysts of San Francisco, the Washington Society of Investment Analysis and the Association for Investment Management and Research.
