Prior to joining Boxwood, Mr. Burden was an Associate in the investment banking group at Wachovia Securities, where he executed M&A transactions and capital raises for real estate investment trusts ("REITs") and leading private real estate companies.
Before joining Wachovia, Mr. Burden worked as an Associate at BB&T Capital Markets, providing middle-market M&A advisory and capital raising services to leading private equity groups and private and publicly traded companies.
He began his career as an Analyst with BB&T Capital Markets in the investment banking group where he was involved in middle market transaction execution across a variety of industries.
Mr. Burden earned his B.S.
in Commerce from the McIntire School at the University of Virginia and now lives in Richmond with his wife.
