David is a highly experienced finance professional with more than 15 years working across senior accounting, finance, investment and governance roles.
David has worked with Viburnum since 2013 where he has key responsibility for all financial and governance aspects of the business, including the various Funds managed by Viburnum.
David joined Viburnum following some 8 years with Wyllie Group Pty Ltd, the investment company and family office for the Wyllie family, where he worked in a number of executive roles including Company Secretary, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Operating Officer.
Prior to joining Wyllie Group, David worked for an accounting firm as a Manager in the Business Services division.
David is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Western Australia, majoring in Quantitative Finance and Accounting.
He also holds a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance, majoring in Investment Management as well as completing an Advanced Diploma of Financial Licensing Management.
David is a member of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, and a Senior Associate of FINSIA (Financial Services Institute of Australasia).
