Barksdale, III CFA, is a Research Manager at Federal Street Partners LLC.
Prior to joining Federal in June 2007, he spent nine years at MFS Investment Management, based in Tokyo.
His responsibilities during the last three years included managing Japan and Asia portfolios for retail and instiutional clients, after spending six years as an equity analyst covering Asia.
Before MFS, Mr. Barksdale spent two years each at Fidelity Investments (Far East) and the Tokio Marine Asset Management Co., focused on Japan equity research across a number of industries.
Mr. Barksdale has an MBA degree in Finance from Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1996 and a BA degree in Economics from Bates College in 1991.
