President and founder of the GED Group.
He chairs the Boards of Directors of all the management companies and the Investment Committees of the Funds.
He has been particularly active in attracting, investing and supporting most companies in the Funds’ portfolio.
He was a promoter of the private equity sector in Spain at the end of the 70s since he was Director of SEFINNOVA, the first company in Spain in the sector.
He has been President of the Spanish Association of Capital, Growth and Investment (ASCRI), and for 7 years, he has belonged to its Board of Directors.
For 4 years, he was a member of the Board of the European Private Equity Association (Invest Europe).
He was president for 5 years of the European Grouping “Eurodevelopment”.
For ten years, he was the Director responsible for the Sepi Development Companies Group (INI) made up of seven Industrial Development companies (SODIS) and Enisa while he belonged to INI.
He was a member of the Board of several private equity management companies such as Catalana de Iniciatives, Enisa and Axis.
At the INI Group, now Sepi, he was for four years head of the General Directorate’s Cabinet in charge of restructuring the Steel, Naval construction and transport, Mining and Capital Goods sector.
He held a relevant and active position in the restructuring process and served on the Board of the main companies.
He is a MS Industrial Engineer and a MBA from ESIC Business School.
