Ian Trundle is responsible for the day-to-day operations of DB Absolute Return Strategies Ltd. Reporting to the Global COO, he oversees technology and middle office functions as well as general operating matters.
He joined DB in 1993 and has performed a number of roles within the organisation.
Most recently he was Business Manager for DB Advisors for London and Asia.
DB Advisors housed proprietary trading teams.
These trading teams managed a diverse number of hedge fund strategies including managed futures, statistical arbitrage, emerging market currency, merger and convertible arbitrage, equity
special situations and a variety of long/short books.
Prior to that he served as European Business Manager for the Emerging Market equity business.
He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.
