Kurt is the CIO for the fund.
Prior to joining Polar Capital Kurt was involved in successfully launching the Ecofin Global Utilities Hedge Fund in London, where he operated as Senior Portfolio Manager.
Kurt has experience working for three New York-based utilities hedge funds: Angelo, Gordon & Co. where he was a senior analyst; Jemmco Capital where he was a senior analyst and co-portfolio manager; and, Tiedemann Investment Group where he was a portfolio manager.
From 1995 to 2000 Kurt was an equity analyst at Morgan Stanley in New York where he covered the natural gas industry.
Kurt graduated from SMU in Dallas, Texas, with degrees in geology, chemistry and philosophy.
He was also awarded an M.S.
degree in geology from the University of Utah and an M.Phil.
degree in management studies from Oxford University.
Kurt is 50 years old.
