Ms. Laca Wong-Hammond is Head of Healthcare at Morgan Keegan & Co., Inc. She joined Morgan Keegan in 2006 with the acquisition of Shattuck Hammond Partners.
She has more than twelve years of real estate experience, including six years dedicated to healthcare real estate.
Before joining Shattuck Hammond, she was a vice president at Merrill Lynch, responsible for the internal corporate finance group's real estate, investor relations and rating agency affairs from 2004 to 2006.
Prior to that, she raised capital and managed investor relations for iStar Financial, a publicly-traded REIT from 2000 to 2004.
Her career began at JP Morgan's Real Estate and Lodging Investment Banking group in 1999.
Ms. Wong-Hammond received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University in 1999 and a graduate degree from the London School of Economics & Political Science in 1998.
