Profil
Liz Sands joined 3i in May 2008 to drive the Active Partnership programme through which she is assisting the leadership teams of companies within 3i’s portfolio to identify and realise their full potential.
She started her career at Natwest and from there joined AT Kearney’s Financial Institutions Group.
Liz then spent 12 years in professional services, where she successfully delivered multi-million-pound change programmes in both the private and public sectors.
Working at board level to build ambition and confidence, she drives change in a flexible and pragmatic way to ensure the realisation of value in fast paced and challenging environments.
Her success is due to her ability to connect with, motivate, excite and lead people.
She tackles challenges that cut across formal organisational structures and boundaries which require a practical, yet innovative approach.
She has a BSc and MSc in Chemistry from Kent University, where her work was industrially sponsored and subsequently patented.
