Maria Cobbe joined Stanhope Capital in 2019 and has over 15 years of industry experience.
She is a senior member of the advisory and OCIO teams covering substantial families and institutions across Europe and the Middle East.
Prior to joining Stanhope, Maria worked at Cambridge Associates in London where she specialised in asset allocation reviews, portfolio analysis and manager selection.
She also worked at Wellington Management International covering the German market.
Maria chairs Stanhope’s Footprint Committee ensuring the company meets its internal and external corporate responsibility and sustainability goals and is a member of the Responsible Investment Oversight Committee.
Maria graduated in 2004 with a Master in History of Art from The Courtauld Institute of Art in London, is a holder of the Investment Management Certificate and a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI).
She is fluent in English, German and French.
