Prior to joining Battery, Mr. Hartmann spent two years as a sales manager with All Business Communications, Inc. where he focused on selling, installing and maintaining business communications systems.
Previous to this, he held positions with leading financial institutions including Salomon Smith Barney and CIBC Oppenheimer.
Mr. Hartmann also co-founded Afewdrinks.com, an Internet company that offered the public a view of Boston nightlife.
Mr. Hartmann graduated from Boston College with a BS in Marketing.
