Mr. Michael R.
MacMillan is a Principal at Front Barnett Associates LLC.
He is FBA’s lead portfolio manager, advising taxable and tax-free clients, and a member of the Investment Committee.
Mr. MacMillan joined FBA in 1999 from J.P.
Morgan & Co. where for six years he was a member of their Private Client Group responsible for managing client relationships across investment management, custodial, credit, and banking products.
He currently serves as an advisor to the Columbia College Chicago Investment Committee.
He has been actively involved with Midtown Education Foundation for over 15 years serving various roles including co-chair and member of the junior board of directors, member of the Midtown Advancement Council and one-on-one program tutor.
He has also volunteered with the Tax Assistance Program and the Chicago Cubs Charitable Organization.
He earned his BS in Finance and Economics, Magna Cum Laude, from Mt.
St. Mary’s University (Maryland) and an MBA in Finance from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
