Mr. Palermo joined Sterling Capital Management in 1996.
He joined BB&T’s Financial Management Group in 1996 and worked as Internal Reporting Manager, prior to being named Chief Financial Officer and Operations Manager for BB&T Asset Management.
Before joining Sterling, he worked for three years as an auditor with Arthur Andersen in Charlotte, NC and at Kayser-Roth Corporation in Greensboro, NC.
Mr. Palermo is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of East Carolina University and is licensed as a CPA in North Carolina.
