Dr. Ronald N.
Kahn is a Managing Director & Global Head of Systematic Investment Research at BlackRock Fund Advisors.
He is primarily responsible for the research underpinning the Systematic Investment products.
Dr. Kahn's service with the firm dates back to 1998, including his years with Barclays Global Investors (BGI), which merged with BlackRock in 2009.
At BGI, his roles included Global Head of Equity Research, Global Head of Advanced Equity Strategies, and Head of Active Equities in the US.
Prior to joining BGI, he worked as Director of Research at BARRA, where his research covered equity and fixed income markets.
He earned an AB degree in Physics, summa cum laude, from Princeton University in 1978, and a PhD in Physics from Harvard University in 1985.
He was a post-doctoral fellow in physics at University of California, Berkeley.
