As Forerunner’s Head of Research, Sarah is charged with setting the strategy and processes for all research frameworks and findings at Forerunner.
She works closely with the investment team to conduct proprietary research that helps inform our unique perspective on evolving consumer behavior, cultural trends, and foundational shifts.
She also advises the Forerunner portfolio on ongoing market, product, and competitive research.
Since Forerunner operates in a competitive environment that is swimming with data, leveraging research allows us to give voice to the consumer and understand the “why” behind all the metrics.
It gives us foresight that ultimately helps uncover the greatest opportunities.
Prior to Forerunner, Sarah led Research at SurveyMonkey, responsible for integrating research best practices into all of SurveyMonkey’s products and services.
Sarah began her career in health policy polling, providing critical data to journalists and policymakers at KFF.
She graduated with an AB in Community Health from Brown University and an MPH in Epidemiology from Columbia University.
Outside of work, Sarah spends most of her time chasing around her toddler.
With a free day, she enjoys spending her time running and discovering new recipes.
