In addition to his role with CenterPoint Ventures, Mr. Aschenbrenner is a private investor who participates in the venture capital industry through the relationships he established as one of the founders of InteCom, a Dallas-based communications equipment company.
He started his career at Bell Labs, and by the mid-1970’s, was instrumental in the development of software that became the foundation of the telephony switching industry.
He shares office space in Dallas with CenterPoint, InterWest Partners, and the Sevin Rosen Funds.
He has been a CenterPoint advisor for 6 years.
