He currently serves as one of Advocacy's managing partners.
His skills in institutional investment management, comprehensive financial planning, and understanding client’s needs has helped the Advocacy team build a firm with more than $500 million in assets under management.
Over the last 18 years in the financial services industry, Mr. Wilkerson gained experience in multiple positions and disciplines ranging from staff accountant for a Credit Union to institutional retirement planning at Benmark Financial Services.
While at Benmark Financial Services, he led the a team of consultants in building a $250 million retirement planning group with clients such as Fulton County Georgia, and the Association of County Commissioners of Georgia.
Mr. Wilkerson is a graduate of The University of Georgia and has professional designations including Certified Financial Planner and The Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant from the American College.
