Mr. Atkins has spent several years growing and developing new businesses.
He joined Cherry Tree in 2000 as President of Cherry Tree Development.
In 2002, he was named Chief Operating Officer across all of the Cherry Tree Companies.
Prior to Cherry Tree, Mr. Atkins was President and Chief Operating Officer of an Internet business incubator.
He built a team of professionals and participated in raising funds to invest in and launch early stage internet companies.
He also managed a $400M market segment for a Fortune 1000 company and led project engagements for Gemini Consulting's strategy practice.
He founded his first business, a successful software company, at the age of 17.
Mr. Atkins earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Economics from Northwestern University where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa and with Honors.
