From 1973 to present, Mr. Hunter has been the owner operator of multiple business enterprises.
These include Jasper Textiles, Inc., a manufacturer of knit polo shirts under the Outer Banks label that was sold to Sara Lee Corporation in 2000; Biofit Engineered Products, a manufacturer of tubular steel seating and table products; and Queenstown Properties, Inc., a commercial real estate development with factory outlet shopping centers.
He also participated in a joint venture with McArthur/Glen group.
Cheston & Companies in residential real estate development in Talbot County Maryland.
From 1969 to 1973, Mr. Hunter was with the United States Department of Justice, Tax Division, as a Refund Trial Attorney.
Mr. Hunter received his BA from the University of California at Berkeley in 1965 and his JD from Hastings College of Law in 1968.
Mr. Hunter received his LLM from New York University, School of Law, in 1969.
