She most recently was the Director of State Government Relations for Sanofi, a global biopharmaceutical manufacturing and research company.
Mrs. Powers started her career in Washington, DC with a fellowship aimed at closing the gender gap in American politics in 2010, working in the Congressional Office of Gabrielle Giffords.
She later served as a partner at a boutique public affairs firm, where she advised large trade associations, companies, nonprofits, and institutions of higher education.
Mrs. Powers was named to the list of Colorado’s Top 5 Most Influential GenXYZ and the Denver Business Journal's 40 Under 40.
Mrs. Powers is a graduate of Northern Arizona University, where she was a nationally ranked debater.
